Some viewers have asked me how this shot was made, as though it was from a moving car. It wasn’t, and instead, was captured standing still about ~8′ from the tracks. I’ve taken what you see below, and created a film noir effect as though you’re moving to beat the train. PS, for those not aware, I love trains…
This photo of the week comes from the Occupy Oakland moment in Oakland, CA on 10/28/2011. This shot really speaks volumes towards the power of an individual over a crowd with the status of Michael Moore.
This is the fourth and final shot from a rooftop series this month on random black and white images. This is an interesting effect where the shutter release was controlled to place the bright moon, on top of the building, while also panning.
